balmain ss2011

i do love balmain and this collection does have some great jackets - i really want one of each sequin+studded+white. however the grunge look has pretty much already been seen and it all looks a little... cheap? still a fan but not wowed like usual with balmain. 

ps - i am still crushing on abbey's whiteblonde hair.

today at work i somehow managed to bang my thumb (realllly hard) and now it is fractured. it hurts when i move it. i never realised just how much you move your thumb. now i have lost the use of my opposable thumb and i feel less advanced in the evolutionary chain...

the esplanade

mum and i decided to go on an adventure-catchup and drove around and went to a pub somewhere called the esplanade.. i think? had multiple catchup drinks and an amaazzzzinggg grilled chicken salad. i am so tempted to go back just to have it again.
